タチ大学が本学を表敬訪問されました/Mie University Holds Courtesy visit with University College TATI (UCTATI)

10月6日（月）、タチ大学（University College TATI (UCTATI)）が本学学長を表敬訪問されました。
On Monday, October 6, 2025, a delegation from University College TATI (UCTATI) paid a courtesy visit to the President of Mie University.

本学では、長年にわたりタチ大学との交流を継続しており、毎年、同大学からの留学生を積極的に受け入れています。また、夏期・春期に実施している短期研修プログラムには、毎回20名弱の本学学生が参加し、国際的な視野を広げる貴重な機会となっています。
Mie University has maintained a longstanding partnership with UCTATI, actively welcoming exchange students from the university each year. In return, nearly 20 students from Mie University participate in short-term training programs held at UCTATI during the summer and spring terms, gaining valuable international experience and broadening their global outlook.

このたび、タチ大学の訪問団が本学を表敬訪問され、これまでの交流の振り返りに加え、今後の連携の可能性についても活発な意見交換が行われました。特にエネルギー分野における共同研究やオンラインでのディスカッション、教員派遣の可能性など、多岐にわたる協力の展望が話し合われました。
During the recent visit, the two institutions reflected on their past collaborations and engaged in a lively discussion about future opportunities. In particular, the delegation exchanged ideas on potential collaborations in the field of energy, including joint research, online discussions, and faculty exchanges.

また、訪問団は日本の幼児教育にも強い関心を示されており、表敬訪問後には教育学部の教員との会談が実施されました。日本における早期幼児教育のあり方や取り組みに対して、熱心に質問され、特にマレーシアでも働く女性が増加している中で、母親として、また労働者としてのワークライフバランスについて、日本の制度や支援体制に深い関心を寄せられていました。
The delegation also showed strong interest in Japan's early childhood education. Following the courtesy call, they held a meeting with faculty members from the Faculty of Education, where they posed thoughtful questions about early childhood education practices in Japan. With the increasing number of working women in Malaysia, they listened with great interest to how Japan supports work-life balance for mothers and workers.

その後、訪問団は三重大学医学部附属病院内にある「さつき保育園」を見学されました。園に到着すると、園児たちからマレー語、英語、日本語での元気いっぱいの歓迎を受け、訪問団の皆様も自然と笑顔を浮かべていらっしゃいました。
Afterward, the delegation visited the "Satsuki Nursery School," located within the Mie University Hospital. Upon arrival, they were warmly welcomed by the children in Malay, English, and Japanese, which brought smiles to the faces of the visitors.

まもなく開催される運動会に向けて、年少～年中クラスの子どもたちが一生懸命に練習する様子を見学され、わずか3カ月の練習期間で培われた子どもたちのチームワークや集中力に大変感銘を受けていました。また、0歳児クラスから3歳児クラスの保育の様子も見学され、子どもたちの愛らしい姿に終始目を細めながら視察されていました。
They observed children in the junior and middle age classes practicing enthusiastically for the upcoming sports day. The delegation was deeply impressed by the children's teamwork and discipline, developed in just three months of preparation. They also visited classrooms for children aged 0 to 3, watching their adorable interactions with great affection and interest.

今回の訪問を通じて、両大学間の相互理解が一層深まり、国際的な教育・研究連携のさらなる発展が期待されます。
This visit further deepened mutual understanding between the two universities and is expected to pave the way for expanded international cooperation in both education and research.
