ヌエヴァ・ヴィスカヤ大学が本学を表敬訪問されました / Mie University Holds Courtesy visit with Nueva Vizcaya State University(NVSU)

2025年10月27日（月）、ヌエヴァ・ヴィスカヤ大学（Nueva Vizcaya State University(NVSU)）が本学学長を表敬訪問されました。
On Monday, October 27, 2025, a delegation from Nueva Vizcaya State University(NVSU) paid a courtesy visit to the President of Mie University.

両大学の交流は、これまで研究者間の連携を通じて育まれ、2024年8月にはNVSUの代表者が三重大学を訪問されました。そして、同年12月には本学から数名の教員がNVSUに赴き、大学間協定の調印式が執り行われました。
The long-standing relationship between the two universities has been strengthened through collaboration among researchers. In August 2024, representatives from NVSU visited Mie University, and in December of the same year, several Mie University faculty members visited NVSU to attend the signing ceremony for an inter-university agreement.

今回の訪問は、協定締結後、初めて本学がNVSUをお迎えする機会となりました。学長との懇談に続いて本学教員との意見交換も行われ、今後の学術交流の発展及び研究・教育分野での協力を強化することが確認されました。
This visit marked the first opportunity for Mie University to host representatives from NVSU since the signing of the inter-university agreement. Following the courtesy meeting with the President, a discussion was held with Mie University faculty members, during which both parties reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing academic collaboration and strengthening cooperation in the fields of research and education.

また、表敬訪問後には、紀南地域でのみかん農場の視察や、本学生物資源学研究科の研究室視察が予定されています。これらの活動を通じて、農業・環境分野における相互理解と実践的な協力の促進が期待されます。
After the courtesy visit, the delegation is scheduled to visit a mandarin orange farm in the Kinan region and laboratories of the Graduate School of Bioresources at Mie University. Through these activities, both universities are expected to deepen their mutual understanding and promote practical cooperation in the fields of agriculture and the environment.

三重大学は、NVSUとのパートナーシップを基盤に、今後も日本とフィリピン両国の学術・文化交流をさらに発展させてまいります。
Building upon its partnership with NVSU, Mie University will continue to advance academic and cultural exchange between Japan and the Philippines.
