2025年度秋期 新渡日留学生Welcome Partyを開催しました / Held the 2025 Fall Semester Welcome Party for New International Students

10月9日（木）、国際戦略機構主催による「2025年度秋期 新渡日留学生 Welcome Party」が、生協第二食堂にて開催されました。
On Thursday, October 9, the Organization for International Education and Research hosted the "Welcome Party for New International Students (Fall 2025)" at the Cafeteria II.

当日は、新しく三重大学の仲間となった留学生をはじめ、先輩留学生、国際戦略機構に関係する教員等、合計182名が参加しました。会場には、三重大学公式マスコットキャラクター「ミールド」も登場し、会場を大いに盛り上げました。
A total of 182 participants--including newly arrived international students, senior students, and faculty members from the Organization for International Education and Research--joined the event. Mie University's official mascot "Mield (ミールド)" also made a special appearance, adding excitement to the party.

留学生の中には、伝統衣装を身にまとって参加した学生もいて、会場は華やかな雰囲気に包まれました。
Some of the international students wore their traditional attire, creating a colorful and festive atmosphere at the venue.

歓談時には、学生同士の活発な交流が見られ、会場は終始和やかな雰囲気に包まれていました。
The social gathering was filled with friendly interactions among students, creating a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere.

今回も大学グッズを賞品としたビンゴ大会や、留学生と教職員が一本となった日本の伝統的な踊り「炭坑節」では、大いに盛り上がり、笑顔あふれる時間となりました。
Once again, the bingo tournament featuring university merchandise as prizes and the traditional Japanese dance 'Tankō-bushi,' performed together by international students and faculty staffs, brought great excitement and smiles all around.　

新しい環境での生活は、期待と不安が入り混じるものかもしれませんが、留学生の皆さんにとって、三重大学での毎日が楽しく、充実した、かけがえのない時間となることを心から願っています。
Although starting a new life in a different country may bring both excitement and anxiety, we sincerely hope that every international student will have a meaningful and fulfilling experience at Mie University.
