2025年9月23日（火）第31回 Tri-U国際シンポジウム＆セミナー・Day2が開催されました。/ The 31st Tri-U International Joint Seminar & Symposium － Day2 was held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.

第31回目のTri-U・Day2は、6つの大学から参加した約70名の学生が、「Population」 「Food」「Energy」「Environment」「Disaster Management」のテーマの下、研究成果の口頭発表が行われました。
On Day 2 of the 31st Tri-U International Symposium, around 70 students from six universities delivered oral presentations showcasing their research under five key themes: "Population", "Food", "Energy", "Environment" and "Disaster Management".

一般的な研究発表は、学会などの場で専門分野ごとに研究成果の発表が行われますが、Tri-Uでは個々のテーマの下で様々な分野の学生が集い、発表を行うのが特徴です。各発表会場には、参加大学の教員が評価者として同席します。各会場では、評価者2名が学生の発表内容に対して採点を行い、最終日に「ベストプレゼンテーション賞」等の表彰を行います。
Unlike typical academic conferences where research presentations are organized by specialized fields, Tri-U stands out by bringing together students from diverse academic backgrounds under shared themes. Faculty members from participating universities served as evaluators in each session. Two evaluators score each presentation, and outstanding presenters will be recognized on the final day with　awards such as the "Best Presentation Award."

午後には、三重大学の協定大学であるハイデルベルグ大学（ドイツ）の協力を得て、来日中であったハイデルベルグ大学合唱団Camerata Carolinaをお迎えし、特別公演「BAROQUE AND ROMANTIC　GARMAN CHORAL MUSIC」が行われました。Prof. Franz Wassermann氏指揮の下、5つの演目が披露され、参加者は美しく響き渡る歌声に聴き入り、最後はTri-U参加者とハイデルベルク大学合唱団がベートーヴェンの歓喜の歌を合唱して終演となりました。合唱の後もProf. Franzのご厚意により、合唱団と参加者が交流を深めながら、偶然の出会いの喜びを分かち合っていました。
In the afternoon of Day2, a special concert titled "Baroque and Romantic German Choral Music" was held with the support of Heidelberg University (Germany), one of Mie University's partner institutions. The event welcomed the Heidelberg University choir, Camerata Carolina, who were visiting Japan. Under the direction of Prof. Franz Wassermann, the choir performed five pieces. Participants were deeply moved by thier beautifully resonant voices, and the concert concluded with a joint performance of Beethoven's Ode to Joy, sung together by Tri-U participants and the Heidelberg choir. Thanks to Prof. Franz's generosity, the choir and attendees continued to enjoy warm exchanges after the performance, celebrating the joy of unexpected encounters and cultural connection.

Day2の最後には、参加大学の学生が6つのグループに分かれて行うワークショップの説明が行われました。各グループには、この日発表された「Disaster Management」に関連する6つのテーマが割り当てられ、各グループでは多様な価値観に基づく熱いディスカッションが始まりました。
At the end of Day 2, students from the participating universities were divided into six groups for the upcoming workshop sessions. Each group was assigned one of six sub-themes related to "Disaster Management, and the workshops began with lively discussions, as students from exchanged ideas and perspectives shaped by their diverse backgrounds and values.

第31回目のTri-U・Day2は、ドイツを加えた5つの国の大学から関係者が集い、学術と芸術の分野で活発な知の国際交流が深められました。多様な学びと文化が交差した一日を通して、学生たちは国際的な視野と新たな気づきを得ることができました。各会場では発表や議論が白熱し、コンサートでは心が通い合うような一体感が生まれるなど、終日を通じて参加者同士の交流が多層的に育まれた、充実した一日となりました。Tri-Uプログラムは残り二日となりましたが、学生たちのさらなる交流と成長が期待されます。
On Day 2 of the 31st Tri-U International Joint Seminar & Symposium, representatives from universities in five countries－including Germany－gathered to engage in vibrant international exchange across both academic and artistic fields. Throughout a day rich in diverse learning and cultural intersections, students gained new insights and broadened their global perspectives. Each presentation and discussion session was filled with energy and enthusiasm, while the concert fostered a deep sense of unity through shared musical experience. From start to finish, the day offered multilayered opportunities for meaningful interaction among participants. With two days remaining in the Tri-U program, further exchange and growth among the students are eagerly anticipated.
