中国江蘇省鎮江市の学生友好訪日団が来訪しました/We welcomed a delegation of students from Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province, China

2025年8月22日、津市の仲介により中国江蘇省鎮江市からの学生友好訪日団が来学しました。今回来学したのは、日本の高校生に相当する15歳から17歳の学生10名を含む、計12名の訪日団です。津市と鎮江市は友好都市協定を締結しており、今回の訪問はその交流の一環として実現しました。
On August 22, 2025, a student delegation from Zhenjiang City in Jiangsu Province, China, visited Mie University with support from the Tsu City. The delegation consisted of 12 members in total, including 10 students aged 15 to 17, equivalent to Japanese high school students. Tsu City and Zhenjiang City have established a sister city agreement, and the visit to Mie University was arranged as part of the broader exchange program.

当日は、生物資源学研究科の王教授が中国語で大学紹介を行い、日本の食文化や伝統行事についても説明がありました。学生の視点に寄り添った王教授の資料と語り口には、時折笑いが起こる場面もあり、心温まる交流となりました。
On the day of the visit, Professor Wang from Graduate School of Bioresources introduced Mie University in Chinese and gave a presentation on Japanese food culture and traditional events. His presentation, which resonated with the perspectives of young students, often brought smiles and laughter, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere.

その後、訪日団は王教授の研究室を訪問し、中国人留学生から研究内容の紹介を受けました。ここでも中国語による活発な質疑応答が交わされ、大学ならではの実りある対話が行われました。
Afterward, the delegation visited Professor Wang's laboratory, where a Chinese international students introduced their research. A lively Q&A session in Chinese followed, leading to an engaging and meaningful exchange unique to a university setting.

今回来学された皆さんが、将来、日中友好の架け橋として活躍されることを心より期待しています。
We sincerely hope that all of the students who visited us this time will go on to play an active role as bridges of friendship between Japan and China in the future.
