三重大学留学生54名が鈴鹿８耐特別ツアーに参加しました/54 international students from Mie University participated in the Suzuka 8 Hours Special Tour.

８月２日（土）、鈴鹿での「鈴鹿８耐特別ツアー」には、本学の留学生54名が参加しました。中国、台湾、ドイツ、ザンビア、インドネシア、バングラデシュ、タイ、韓国、エジプト、マレーシア、フィリピン、ブルガリア、スウェーデンなど、14か国・地域からの留学生たちが一堂に集まりました。この特別なツアーは、ホンダモビリティランド株式会社と三重大学の産学連携に基づく包括協定の一環として、昨年に続く２年目の企画です。今回は、新たな試みとして、三重大学、静岡大学、岐阜大学の留学生の交流も企画されました。
On Saturday, August 2nd, 54 international students from our university participated in the "Suzuka 8 Hours Special Tour" held in Suzuka. Students from 14 countries and regions, including China, Taiwan, Germany, Zambia, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Thailand, South Korea, Egypt, Malaysia, the Philippines, Bulgaria, and Sweden, gathered together for this event. This special tour was organized as part of the comprehensive industry-academic collaboration agreement between Honda Mobilityland Corporation and Mie University, marking its second year following last year's initiative. This time, as a new endeavor, a communion has been planned for international students from Mie University, Shizuoka University, and Gifu University.

当日は、鈴鹿サーキット関係者と「Honda Asia-Dream Racing」のスタッフのご協力により、普段は入ることのできないレースの舞台裏を見学する貴重な機会が提供されました。関係者エリアやバイクの整備・メンテナンスが行われるピット及びレースコントロールタワーの内部など、特別な場所をご案内いただきました。ピットでは、Honda Asia-Dream Racingのライダーとも直接お会いし、スタッフの皆様と交流を楽しみながら特別なひとときを共有することができ、学生たちにとって新鮮で印象深い体験となりました。
On the day, with the cooperation of Suzuka Circuit staff and "Honda Asia-Dream Racing" members, the students were given a rare opportunity to explore the behind-the-scenes aspects of the race. They toured special areas usually inaccessible, such as the restricted zones for staff, the pits where bike repairs and maintenance are carried out and inside the race Control Tower. The students also had the opportunity to meet riders from Honda Asia-Dream Racing. They enjoyed a unique time-sharing interaction with the riders and staff, creating meaningful connections providing them with fresh and memorable experiences.

鈴鹿サーキット関係者やHonda Asia-Dream Racingの皆様をはじめ、多くの方々の協力に感謝し、留学生たちには心に残る一日を楽しむことができました。
This unforgettable day was made possible thanks to the efforts and support of the Suzuka Circuit staff, Honda Asia-Dream Racing, and many others. It was an exceptional experience for the international students and one they will surely treasure.
