公認学生ボランティアチーム「Palette」による、出張言語サポートを第1食堂で行いました。 / The official student volunteer group "Palette" held a Outreach Language Support event at the First Cafeteria.

2026年5月28日（木）、本学の第1食堂において、留学生支援を行う公認学生ボランティアチーム「Palette（パレット）」による「出張言語サポート」イベントが開催され、多くの留学生と日本人学生が参加しました。
On Thursday, May 28, 2026, the official student volunteer group "Palette," which supports international students, held a "Outreach Language Support" event at the First Cafeteria of the university. Many international and Japanese students participated in the event.

本イベントは、Paletteが普段行っている言語サポート活動の認知度向上と、より多くの学生にその活動内容を周知することを目的として企画しました。日常的に多くの学生が利用する第1食堂を会場に選ぶことで、普段は活動場所へ足を運ぶ機会がない学生にも、同団体によるサポート活動の様子を広く周知できました。
The event was organized to raise awareness of Palette's regular language support activities and to introduce its activities to a wider range of students. By holding the event at the First Cafeteria, which is frequently used by many students on a daily basis, the group was able to reach students who do not usually have the opportunity to visit the regular activity space and effectively showcase its support activities.

当日は午後1時からの1時間、参加者がグループに分かれ、いくつかの語学ゲームを通じて国際交流を行いました。遊びを通して自然に言語の壁を越えられるプログラムとなっており、参加者は互いに積極的にコミュニケーションを図りながらチームワークを深めました。
During the one-hour event starting at 1:00 p.m., participants were divided into groups and engaged in international exchange through several language games. The program was designed to help participants naturally overcome language barriers through fun activities, and students actively communicated with one another while building teamwork in a friendly atmosphere.

イベントでは、日本語と英語を交えながら笑顔で交流する姿が多く見られました。また、オープンなスペースでの活動により、通りがかった多くの学生が足を止めてイベントの様子を見学しており、「活動の周知」という本企画の大きな目的においても十分な成果を上げる機会となりました。
Throughout the event, many participants were seen interacting with smiles while using both Japanese and English. In addition, because the event was held in an open space, many students passing by stopped to observe the activities, making the event a valuable opportunity to achieve one of its main objectives: increasing awareness of Palette's activities.

Paletteは今後も、本学の留学生と日本人学生が自然な形で交流し、異文化理解や語学力を高め合えるようなサポート活動を継続していく予定です。これからの活動もご期待ください。
