【国際交流DAYS　 International Exchange DAYS】"国際カルタ杯"を開催しました　"International Karuta Cup" Held

2026年1月6日（火）、国際交流DAYSの一環として、海外留学経験者である日本人学生の企画によって、「国際カルタ杯」が三重大学三翠会館で開催されました。留学生と一般学生あわせて約37名が参加し、会場は終始笑いに包まれた和やかな雰囲気となりました。
On Tuesday, January 6, 2026, as part of International Exchange DAYS, the "International Karuta Cup" was held at Mie University's Sansui Hall , organized by Japanese students with study abroad experience. Around 37 international and Japanese students took part, filling the venue with laughter and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

カルタは、日本語初級レベルの留学生が自ら作成した札も含まれており、ユニークで温かみのある表現が多く、参加者からは「とても面白い！」と好評でした。試合は白熱し、決勝戦まで進むほど大いに盛り上がりました。
Some of the karuta cards were created by basic-level Japanese learners, and their creative, heartfelt expressions were a big hit--many participants commented on how fun and unique they were. The matches were lively and competitive, building up to an exciting final round.

畳の和室で行われたこのイベントを通して、参加者は日本のお正月文化に触れながら、言葉や文化を超えた交流を楽しむことができました。
Held in a traditional tatami room, the event gave everyone a chance to experience a bit of Japanese New Year culture while enjoying meaningful cross-cultural exchange. It was a joyful afternoon that brought people together through language, laughter, and tradition.
