松阪高校SSH生徒と留学生の学術交流会が開催されました Academic Exchange between Matsuzaka High School SSH Students and International Students

12月5日（金）17時20分～19時、国際戦略機構視聴覚室において、三重大学の留学生である「日本語・日本文化研修生」4名および台湾からの交換留学生2名が、松阪高校のスーパーサイエンスハイスクール（SSH）参加生徒19名と学術交流を行いました。同生徒らは今月、台湾の高校を訪問し、英語による学術交流を予定しており、今回の交流はそれに先立って行われたものです。
On Friday, December 5, 2025, from 5:20 PM to 7:00 PM, an academic exchange was held in the Audiovisual Room of the Organization for International Education and Research (OIER). Four international students from Mie University, who are Japanese Language and Culture Program students, and two exchange students from Taiwan engaged in an academic exchange with 19 Super Science High School (SSH) students from Matsusaka High School. This exchange served as a valuable opportunity for the Matsusaka students to prepare for their upcoming academic visit to a high school in Taiwan later this month, where they will conduct discussions in English.

松阪高校SSH生徒と留学生との交流は、昨年度から通算して今回が5回目となります。前回（7月18日）は、生徒が留学生の研究発表を聞き、質問やコメントを行いましたが、今回は、生徒の発表に対して留学生が日本語や英語で質問やコメントを行いました。
This exchange marks the fifth collaboration between Matsusaka High School's SSH students and international students from Mie University since last year. During the previous session held on July 18, the Matsusaka students listened to research presentations by the Mie University students, actively engaging through questions and comments. In this latest exchange, the roles were reversed: the international students from Mie University offered thoughtful questions and feedback--both in Japanese and English--on presentations delivered by the Matsusaka High School students.

当日は、留学生１名に対し、生徒2～4名でグループを編成し、自己紹介から交流を開始しました。自己紹介では、台湾出身の留学生が母国語で簡単な挨拶などを教える姿も見られ、生徒は台湾渡航への期待に胸を膨らませていました。
On the day of the exchange, groups of two to four Matsusaka High School students were paired with each international student for self-introductions. During these introductions, the students from Taiwan taught simple greetings in both Mandarin and Taiwanese, sparking growing excitement among the Matsusaka students for their upcoming study trip to Taiwan.

その後、生徒は４組に分かれてポスター発表を行い、留学生はすべてのグループの発表に対して、日本語と英語でコメントをしました。
Following the introductions, the Matsusaka High School students divided into four groups to deliver poster presentations. The international students from Mie University offered thoughtful feedback in both Japanese and English on each group's presentation.

生徒は試験期間中も発表資料作りに精力的に取り組んでいたとのことで、大変すばらしい発表ばかりでした。さらに、ポスター発表終了後は、生徒による2つの研究発表に対し、留学生や他の生徒からコメントやアドバイスが寄せられました。
Despite being in the midst of their exam period, the Matsusaka High School students dedicated themselves to preparing their presentation materials, resulting in truly outstanding presentations. Following the poster session, both the high school and Mie University students engaged in a lively exchange of comments and advice in response to two research presentations delivered by the Matsusaka students.

限られた時間ではありましたが、非常に有意義な交流となりました。次回の松阪高校SSH生徒と留学生との交流は2月を予定しており、留学生の研究発表会に生徒が参加する予定です。
Although our time was limited, it was a very meaningful exchange. The next interaction between Matsusaka High School SSH students and Mie University students is scheduled for February, when the Matsusaka High School students are expected to attend the Mie University students' research presentation.
