Submission of Health Certificate

Applicants living in a foreign country during the application period (including those with Japanese citizenship) and planning to come to Japan to take the entrance examination must submit a health certificate (in the format specified by the university).

An official health certificate must be signed and dated by an overseas medical institution within six months from the first day of the application period.

The health certificate will be evaluated as follows:

If the university's Center for Physical and Mental Health confirms that the applicant is infected with infectious diseases such as tuberculosis after checking the health certificate, the applicant will not be able to take the entrance examination unless a new health certificate is submitted at least two weeks prior to the day of the entrance examination and it is confirmed that there is no risk of transmission.

For those who are unable to take the entrance examination due to the reason above, the university will refund the entrance examination fee.
