Climate

Towards the end of October in Japan, it will be getting cooler. The season is autumn, one of the most beautiful and pleasant seasons for tourists. However in the early mornings and evenings you may feel chilly. We recommend that you bring a sweater, a warm jacket or a windbreaker.

Visas

Participants from foreign countries may contact the Embassy or Consulate of Japan in their vicinity for visa applications. We will prepare and provide the necessary documents for your entry visa. We would appreciate it if you could contact us for the necessary documents as early as possible.

Currency

The Japanese currency is yen. One US dollar is equivalent to approximately 100 yen as of April 2009. Traveler's checks can be exchanged for cash at local banks on weekdays. On your arrival, which will be on Monday, you may exchange cash and/or TC at the airport.
