The title and abstract of the presentation paper and the participant's name should be received by Mie University no later than June 8, 2009. The final manuscript is due August 25. The template for the manuscript can be downloaded from the "Download" section of this website (or click here).
Authors are requested to prepare manuscripts in English in the appropriate format. Each author accepts full responsibility for the content of his/her own paper and ensures that the paper submitted to this Seminar has never been published elsewhere. The copyright of the proceedings of the Seminar belongs to the Organization Committee of the 16th Tri-University International Joint Seminar & Symposium 2009.
Authors will be given ten minutes for oral presentations (no question time included). Questions, answers and discussions will be freely exchanged during poster sessions. Authors are expected to provide materials for poster sessions as well.
This year, we intend to give the Best Presentation Award to an author of each theme. Authors are encouraged to mark one of the five themes clearly on an application form.
English is the official language at the Seminar. Interpreting will not be officially provided.
All participants should register for the meeting on October 19, 2009 as shown in the schedule (see Overview).
