Announcement of Six-Month Slot of JASSO Scholarship, Fiscal Year 2025

We are pleased to inform you that Independent Administrative Institution Japan Student Services Organization(JASSO)has notified us of an application for scholarship students.
Students who wish to apply should read the application guidelines carefully,

FY2025 JASSO Monbukagakusho Honors Scholarship for Privately-

Financed International Students"SHOREIHI"〈6-month term〉

(For students seeking a job in Japan)

Eligibility

□As of October 2025,a undergraduate third or fourth grader, a master course student or a doctoral course second or third grader (for the doctoral course in graduate school of medicine, third or fourth grader)

□Those who wish to get a job in Japan after graduating from Mie University

□Those who have a Japan Post Bank(Yucho)account in their own name at the time of application

□Those who have excellent grades, people are superior and need economic help

□Those who have an academic grading of 2.30 or higher based on their 2024 academic record
(Please refer to 4-(2)-① in the application guidelines)

□Those whose language proficiency meets any of the standards set forth in the

application guidelines 4- (2) -②

□Person who intends to cooperate in the course investigation conducted by JASSO

through the enrolled university after receipt of "SHOREI-HI"

□Remittance from your family must be less than 90,000 yen average month

□The annual income of supporter who lives in Japan is less than 5 million JPY

Please submit the following documents at the counter.

  1. Application Form
  2. Academic Transcript for the 2024 academic year(Please download it from UNIPA)
  3. Japan Post Bank account information
    (from the inside cover of the passbook or the front of the cash card)
  4. Certificate to show your language proficiency is CEFR B2 level
  5. Student ID card(both sides)
  6. Residence card(both sides)
  7. Income certificate(*Only students whose family live in Japan need to submit. Submit certificates of all adult family members in Japan.)

Schedule

The results of the on-campus selection will be notified by e-mail around late September.

Acceptance or rejection will be notified to the university around mid-November.

Combination with other scholarship

Partially acceptable (not if the student is restricted from receiving the scholarship in conjunction with JASSO).
